I am the 51 year old mother of 2 children. I have 1 son who is 26 years old and is an IT at a large hospital, and is married to a wonderful woman who is an artist and we love her very much!

My daughter who is 23 and is assistant manager at childrens photography studio. My daughter has a 3 year old daughter (yes, my granddaughter, who is our joy!) . I am very proud of all of them!

I am married to a man who came all the way from Germany to marry me in 2001, and we are living happily in Northern California. At the conception of this blog, I am unemployed and my loving husband gave me this website as a Christmas Gift (He is very internet Savvy and is the administrator of this website). He is very sweet and would do his darndest to give me the moon if I asked him to. I love him very much, although I don’t always show it.

Currently, my husband is employed with the Rail Road (I am purposely not saying which RR), but has been furloughed (along with hundreds of other RR employees) for the better part of 2008 and parts of 2007.

This has been quite a tough time for us but somehow, by the grace of God (and financial help from family), we have managed to get by. Hopefully, something will come along and we can feel like normal people again. This blog is supposed to be theraputic for me and will help me to feel more “normal” again, I sure hope so! Sometimes, I feel like my mind is in a whirl and doesn’t know where to land! So check back often to see what’s new in our world!
